Contributors
IP owners provide Aliante with the right to grant financial institutions the right to use their entire patent portfolios (only excluding SEPs and cellular technologies) to operate their internal IT hardware and software systems in exchange for a subscription fee that generates a return for the IP owner contributing their rights to the platform.

Institutions
Membership grants financial institutions the right to use the entire patent portfolios (only excluding SEPs and cellular technologies) of current and future contributors to operate their internal IT hardware and software in exchange for an annual subscription fee. Members remain protected also under patents sold or transferred to third parties, including PAEs.
